Turkey has a rapidly developing economy. With the involvement of new generation of business people in international commerce and with the establishment of large size enterprises, the importance of consulting lawyers, who also have general knowledge of the laws of other countries has become a part of our law school education. Koc Law School has the aim, in addition to educating young men and women to have theoretical and practical knowledge in Turkish law, to prepare them for professional positions that require skill and knowledge to meet the needs of the global environment.

Consistent with Koc University`s educational philosophy of encouraging exploration and fostering critical thinking and creativity, the programs in the Law School all rest on the solid foundation of a liberal arts education.

Most of the core program courses are taken during the first year. During the last two years the students will have the choice to take elective courses close to their special interests.

The courses on Turkish law will be held in Turkish. All other courses which have more international content will be held in English.
