Vokal Akademi

Vocal Academy is a roof art composition established to make culture and arts accessible in Turkey founded by Başak Doğan as a collective platform for vocal music, to offer individuals a safe space for artistic expression, and to cultivate listeners, critics, technical staff, and artists for the industry. The Vocal Academy Pop & Jazz Choir, established under the Vocal Academy three years ago, presents familiar tunes to its audience in choral, i.e., polyphonic arrangements, with a team of approximately sixty members. The choir, which has a repertoire that brings together many artists and genres, from Jamiroquai to Coldplay, from Latin tunes to extraordinary jazz melodies, will offer a special concert for students on Wednesday, March 13, at Koç University Sevgi Gönül Cultural Center.
