Awards and HonorsFaculty of Medicine Department of Medical Biology faculty member Dr. Gözde Korkmaz tested the effectiveness of RHEB inhibition in the treatment of ERα-positive breast cancer patients, using in vitro preclinical studies to reveal to what extent it works in resistant/sensitive cells (ARID1A-Mutant/ARID1A-WT), how it shows synergy with existing clinical drugs, and its mechanisms of action. He received the "Eczacıbaşı Scientific Research Support Award on Personalized Medicine" for his work.
