The research on miniaturized wireless sensor which enables real-time monitoring of food spoilage, conducted by Dr. Emin İstif (Molecular Biology and Genetics, Kadir Has University) who completed his postdoctoral studies at Koç University, and our own Asst. Prof. Levent Beker (Mechanical Engineering) with the contribution of Prof. İskender Yılgör and Dr. Emel Yılgör (Chemistry), Research Asst. Prof. Çağdaş Dağ (n2Star) and Asst Prof. Hatice Ceylan Koydemir (Texas A&M University) has been published in Nature Food Magazine.

Social Science Project Receives Eur 1.4 Million Grant
Koç University Department of International Relations faculty member and director of Migration Research Center (MiReKoc) Professor Ahmet İçduygu and his team was awarded a grant of ~1.4 million euros from the European Commission Twinning Action fund for his project, entitled “Bridging the Migration and Urban Studies Nexus BROAD-ER” making it the second Twinning project to be coordinated by Koç University.

The finalists of the CFA Investment Research Challenge, organized by the CFA Institute, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, and hosted by the CFA Istanbul Society, have been determined.
