Koç Üniversitesi SECUREU Conference

On 29th September, 2023, Koc University, as a member of the Jean Monnet Network and under the umbrella of SECUREU (Securitization of Migrants and Ethnic Minorities and the Rise of Xenophobia in the EU), organized a one-day conference titled ‘Rethinking Securitization and Ontological Security in the Wake of Catastrophe.

The keynote address, titled ‘Sacralization vs. Securitization in Responding to Catastrophe,’ was delivered by Pinar Bilgin, from Bilkent University.
