1993 yılında İstanbul’da kurulan Koç Üniversitesi, kar amacı gütmeyen bir vakıf üniversitesidir. Koç Üniversitesi bir Mükemmeliyet Merkezi olma misyonuyla, üstün yetenekli gençler ile değerli öğretim görevlilerini biraraya getirerek; bilime evrensel düzeyde katkıda bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Koç Üniversitesi’nin mezunları en üst düzeyde ahlaki değerlerle donatılmış olup; toplumsal sorumluluk taşıyan ve demokrasinin değerlerine sahip çıkan bireylerdir.
